PDR's Surgical & Prosthetic Design group are excited to announce that enrolment for their course 'Custom Medical Device Design' at Cardiff Metropolitan University will open next month!
The new module covers Clause 7 of ISO 13485 and gives step-by-step tutorials of how to design an array of custom maxillofacial medical devices. It also covers the latest materials and manufacturing processes used as part of state-of-the-art reconstructive surgery.
This second module complements the first, which focuses on clauses 1-6 of ISO 13485, device classifications, risk management and the construction of a compliant quality management system that will enable you to create your own documentation.
